I am in love! Zakochałam się!

How could I not be?

I love RL orchids, I had and have a few home (with different results).  Particularly I am fond of slipper orchids and their different and beautiful flowers. So naturally I too love all miniature orchids, I cherish the beautiful gifts from Sans and the prettiest phalenopsis from Ilona and these I bought earlier I like too. ;) And I have been in love with Edi's orchids since a long time.

And how could I not be in love with this slipper orchid which  is a gift from this fabulous Artist and a great Person too. Safely arrived from so far away. Thank you sooooo much Edi!!

My Artists' orchids little collection. ;)

I hope to post another post tomorrow, this time not about flowers. ;)

Dostałam przepiękny prezent od niezwykle utalentowanej Artystki. Koniecznie obejrzyjcie jej prace.

3D painting technique in miniature or my first ever miniature animals. Technika malowania 3D lub moje pierwsze mini zwierzątka.

I can't remember where I first saw it but I have to admit I've been fascinated by Riusuke Fukahori's art since then and at first I couldn't believe the fish are actually painted! It is a layer after layer techinque called in short 3D. You pour resin in a bowl and when it sets you paint a shape of fish, just a shape, and then pour resin on it and when it sets you paint another "layer" of fish etc. The result is you see the fish which looks like it is real and swiming and even has a shadow! Something fantastic when you can paint, I can't, really, lol.

I thought it would look awesome in miniature too. As I can't  really work with clays and the results  are rather awful I though I would try to paint myself a little bowl of fish. The bowl is a gift from my dear Friend, Sans, who brought it all the way from Singapore to Poland herself a few years ago. At first I thought it would be perfect for bonsai but fish won.:D

This little bowl started with three fish in.

But then I got carried away and there are six of them, floating on different levels of  'water'. And though I couldn't take good photos of them, when you watch closely you can see their shadows on (also painted) the bottom.

Forgive me  my weak photos but the fish are so small I had to use magnifying glass to paint them. Anyway this tiny bowl took me 7 days to let the fish in.;)

Hope you will like my fish and my efforts. ;)
The beautiful orchid was bought from Ilona, the table and bowl are gifts from Sans - thank you both!

Najpierw nalewamy żywicy do naczynia i czekamy aż zastygnie. Potem malujemy najpierw kształt rybki i znów zalewamy wszystko warstwą żywicy itd.

A Few New Details in The Little Blue Rhapsody. Trochę nowy detali w Błękitnej Rapsodii.

Do you do what I do, sometimes? ;)
I finished  my Little Blue Rhapsody over a year and 8 months ago. Left it as it was and it seemed I was quite pleased with it.
Yet everytime I was looking at it I was feeling the inside of this small lantern was kind of... empty or unfinished.

When I was finishing work on Laundry on The Backyard I already knew I needed to add some small touches to the Rhapsody, specially because I wanted to take both lanterns with me to my show.

I loved the light fixture with Sans candles inside so much I decided to keep it for another and only-for-me project and changed it for DHE battery operated classic floor lamp. But honestly I hated  original lampshade so added a bit of ribbon and lace there.

I also added net curtains high above the arm chair.

Then I thought of giving the scene a little bit of "life".  First I filled the table top with dark blue book and blue-white cup with saucer (after all this is a Blue rhapsody.;)) so that the scene looked like someone has left a second ago. And I thought about a piece of something sweet to eat. I loved Drora's idea how to make a Ferrero candy but had none home so decided to try making something that resembled a little macarron instead.;)

Quite suddenly I thought about shoes but only of high heels and made a pair.

So where is the other one - I hear you ask. Here. Can you see it?

And now?

No? So maybe now....

Now you see who took it so far away...

But it was not one kitten but two! LOL!

And now I think this scene is complete.:)

I think it's fun when you can see the whole scene from every side and  with each side you can find something different.

For kids who came along with their parents to my vernissage I had a little riddle: they were looking for animals and shoes among or in my miniatures. And I think it was fun for them too.;)

A teraz?
Tutaj się schował! A raczej ktoś go schował... i to nie jeden ktoś.;)

No magic here...;) Nie ma w tym magii....;)

Oh, I wanted so much to keep you in suspence for a day or two.... Well, I am not a patient girl!

Anyway I am sorry I will disappoint my great Bloggers who expected a doll or magic here...;)

It's just.....laundry in the backyard....
The dryer was done a long time ago by me. Clothes done now, I even actually SEWN pants and shirt myself, lol!

I want to add one more thing here, but since it will take some time to arrive I can say: it's done.
Hope you  will like it anyway!

****

Z moimi zdolnościami do szycia, to naprawdę sukces! ;)

All I need is a few details more...Jeszcze tylko parę dodatków..

So here it is so far. As I wrote above: I need a few details more to show you everything. But they will kind of cover small pieces so I decided to show you some close-ups first.

This is a real plant with almost dried flowers. I plucked it and now I watch it drying completely. ;) Time will tell if I will have to replace it or not.;)

These pieces are also natural ones.;)

And so are the little twigs in bucket.

Oh, forgot about it! LOL!

***

No to całość na dzisiaj.

Working on the ground.;) Przy-ziemne prace.;)

This is one of the so called miniatures I brought from Wrocław two years ago. I aged it and broke it a bit too. You can see a piece of newspaper I got it from Jennifer  torn apart and aged - sorry for it Jennifer! ;)

The jar was a gift from Kathy.  Again I aged it a bit and tried to spill the rest of liquid - or whatever it was ;) - around using Still Water. But as always when I use it I failed, lol, and finally used a glue I usually glue fabrics with.

My first attempt of making tin as Sans! is doing it.;) Not too bad as for the first time, I think.;)

This is the third attempt as the second went completely flat when I tried to crumple it.;)

The ground so far. Leaves - a gift from Ira.

***

Doniczka przywieziona z Wrocławia jakieś 2 lata temu. Postarzona i "utłuczona" przeze mnie.

Puszka nr 3. Puszka nr 2 całkowicie się spłaszczyła przy zgniataniu... ;)

Cała "podłoga" na chwilę obecną. Liście - prezent od Iry.

Pretties in White. Piękności w Bieli.

Some of you must have seen them already.:)
Yesssss that was Me who emailed very very very talented Ilona asking if she could be interested in making them for me! Whenever she shows her flowers to us I am amazed by the details, colours and the fact that they look very real.:) So imagine my thrill when Ilona wrote to me she accepted my order! I couldn't wait! I knew they would be fantastic but when I saw them on her pictures I ...couldn't find the right words to desribe them! I mean how many times you can repeat just: beautiful, fantastic, pretty?;) And oh yes! I was so greedy that when she showed me 3 stems I wanted them all!!! Okay, I have to admit I am a bit crazy fan of orchids I would love to have all of their kinds 1:1 scale home but unfortunately the only kind that survives on my window sill for long time is phalaenopsis...

Today little orchids arrived!  I carefuly  opened beautifully and safely made box and saw them. My jaw dropped and when I picked it up I couldn't stop smiling.:) These pretties are here! Outstanding! Extraordinary and so beautiful and so fragile...

And they brought pretty gifts with them! See this teeny tiny perfume bottle? I don't know how you can make such a small bottle, dear Ilona. And these pretty love letters? And the orchid painting? And these two orchid flowers to adorn bride's hair?

And this is my first ever bag from a famous designer!;)

To prove I am crazy-orchid-fan I will show you "my" orchids so far. In miniature of course!:)

These pretties in white-blue pots are a gift from dear Sans and I know I am showing you them a little too late but they were just waiting for a special occassion.;)
I am slowly thinking of making a little orchidarium or greenhouse for all of them. And I hope my collection of mini-orchids will grow in time.;)

So let me thank to these two Amazing Ladies:

Dearest Ilona, Thank you very very very much for spending hours working on my beautiful orchids! Thank you for sharing your talents with us and specially me. And thank you for teaching them how to fly!:D

Dearest Sans, I hope you don't mind I show your pretty and colourful (just like you:):) gift that made me smile and brightened our winter days.:) Thank you so much for them and  for your friendship too.:)

The December Girl and Wishes to my Friends! Grudniowa Dziewczyna i życzenia!

Finally managed to make something again.;)
Well, to be honest she's not completely done yet. I need to find her a nice stand and work on her shoes and maybe a veil a bit but ... I couldn't wait to show her to you!
It was my first work on taffeta-like fabric and it was not that easy but overall I am quite pleased with the result.

The make up is not made by me and she's one of the RAK doll, so if you look close you'll find some seams and holes here and there.

This is my third bride....I wonder why? LOL! I think there is something about long elegant dress that makes woman feel special, maybe that's why I like to make wedding dresses from time to time.

As you can see she stands on her own. If she wants that is... ;)

Have you already guessed what inspired me to make this dress?;) Yup, it is an old Guns'n'Roses video to their song: November Rain.:) I guess I was carring this dress in my head for a long time, I still remember I was quite surprise to see the shape of the skirt and it made an impression on me.

That's not a nice thing to look under the skirt, lol, but I wanted to show you she's wearing also a blue garter.:)

A small bouquet of flowers I've got from my dear Friend, Sans!.:)

Hope you will like my December Girl and best wishes to all my Friends!

Wideo do piosenki November Rain Guns'N'Roses! A korzystając z okazji chciałabym wszystkim złożyć najserdeczniejsze życzenia radosnych i wypełnionych miłością Świąt Bożego Narodzenia i Szczęśliwego Nowego Roku!
