U mnie jak widać wszystko już przygotowane do imprezy. ;)

A Few New Details in The Little Blue Rhapsody. Trochę nowy detali w Błękitnej Rapsodii.

Do you do what I do, sometimes? ;)
I finished  my Little Blue Rhapsody over a year and 8 months ago. Left it as it was and it seemed I was quite pleased with it.
Yet everytime I was looking at it I was feeling the inside of this small lantern was kind of... empty or unfinished.

When I was finishing work on Laundry on The Backyard I already knew I needed to add some small touches to the Rhapsody, specially because I wanted to take both lanterns with me to my show.

I loved the light fixture with Sans candles inside so much I decided to keep it for another and only-for-me project and changed it for DHE battery operated classic floor lamp. But honestly I hated  original lampshade so added a bit of ribbon and lace there.

 

I also added net curtains high above the arm chair.

Then I thought of giving the scene a little bit of "life".  First I filled the table top with dark blue book and blue-white cup with saucer (after all this is a Blue rhapsody.;)) so that the scene looked like someone has left a second ago. And I thought about a piece of something sweet to eat. I loved Drora's idea how to make a Ferrero candy but had none home so decided to try making something that resembled a little macarron instead.;)

Quite suddenly I thought about shoes but only of high heels and made a pair.

So where is the other one - I hear you ask. Here. Can you see it?

And now?

No? So maybe now....

Now you see who took it so far away...

But it was not one kitten but two! LOL!

And now I think this scene is complete.:)

 I think it's fun when you can see the whole scene from every side and  with each side you can find something different.

For kids who came along with their parents to my vernissage I had a little riddle: they were looking for animals and shoes among or in my miniatures. And I think it was fun for them too.;)

Zdarza Wam się pracować po raz kolejny nad czymś co skończyliście już dawno temu?
Tak właśnie było z moją Błękitną Rapsodią. Skończyłam ją ponad 20 miesięcy temu a ciągle wydawało mi się, że czegoś w niej jeszcze brakuje....
Jak już skończyłam pracę nad Praniem postanowiłam dodać to i owo do Rapsodii, żeby ją trochę "ożywić".
Na początek zmieniłam oświetlenie: moją własnoręcznie zrobioną latarenkę zamieniłam na standardową lampę stojącą na baterię z DHE, ale za nic na świecie nie podobał mi się klosz, więc dodałam do niego wstążkę i koronkę.
Po niej przyszedł czas na firanki po obu stronach fotela, a potem na drobiazgi na stoliczku, oczywiście niebieskie ;), książkę, opróżnioną już filiżankę i ciasteczko.
Chciałam, żeby wnętrze latarenki wyglądało jakby ktoś właśnie na chwilę wyszedł. Pewnie dlatego pomyślałam o klapeczkach, koniecznie na obcasie. Tak... tylko gdzie jest drugi...?

Tutaj się schował! A raczej ktoś go schował... i to nie jeden ktoś.;)

Wydaje mi się, że w końcu Rapsodia wygląda jak trzeba. Myślę, że fajnie jest jeżeli każda strona scenki wygląda inaczej i można doszukać się ciekawych czy zabawnych szczegółów.

Dzieciaki, które przyszły na wernisaż z rodzicami, dostawały ode mnie zadanie odgadnięcia ile w lub pomiędzy miniaturami można zobaczyć zwierząt i butów.;) I chyba im się takie odgadywanie podobało.;)

Number one and number four. Nr jeden i nr cztery.

I wanted to title this post: "a little helper and number 4", but I remembered this kind of furniture is called "helper" only in Polish and not in English, lol!

Anyway, here is a little side table made by me, with temporary arrangement. The table is as usual based on the photo I saw on internet and I thought it would be good to make a piece of furniture for a kitchen.:)

All glass  on top made by Glasscraft, is  available in my shop.
Roses are gift from Flor, cupcakes from Ira,  fruits from Glenda, the rest is hand made by me. ;)
I thought of taking this table for my vernissage but I guess glass is too fragile so the top will look a bit different.

Or like that.

Oops! Forgot to put the drawers back! LOL!

And here is - finally ready - a cradle no 4. This one is for a Friend.:)
(Hope you haven't got bored with my cradles yet! LOL!)

Funny, I have made 4 of them so far and have none as an example in my workshop.:) So this one will go to my Friend after my "show". ;)

Chciałam post zatytułować: "Mały Pomocnik i nr 4", ale w porę mi się przypomniało, że pomocnik nie nazywa się pomocnik po angielsku.;)
W każdym razie dziś pokazuję mój nowy stolik z tymczasową aranżacją blatu.;) Stolik, jak zwykle, zrobiony na podstawie zdjęcia znalezionego w internecie.
Piękne szkło z Glasscraft'a dostępne w moim Sklepie. Polecam! 
Róże, babeczki i owoce to prezenty od blogowych Przyjaciół. Reszta zrobiona przeze mnie.

Chciałam tak zastawiony stół zabrać na wernisaż, ale szkło jest delikatne więc pojedzie wersja nr 2 z jednym z moich młynków do kawy.;) Ups, sorki za brak szuflad! Zapomniałam je włożyć do zdjęcia.;)

Oprócz tego dziś - w końcu! - kołyska nr 4. Ta jest dla jednej z Przyjaciółek-Blogerek.:)
Zabawne, ale wszystkie kołyski poszły "w świat" i nie mam ani jednego egzemplarza u siebie więc nr 4 wystąpi na wernisażu zanim pojedzie do nowego domu.:)

A pipe. Fajka.

First of all: I am not a smoker. I am just a fan of miniatures that sees sometimes things different than "normal" people. Just like all(or most) of us.;) Sooooo guess what I thought about when I saw this pipe?



Ohh... still in the shop I noticed I can brake it down into parts. Seven parts to be exact.



I just wonder how many ideas you can have with so pretty shapes? Pots, vases, goblets i.e.?



O.K., let's face it: one has a hole and the other one kind of sieve inside...



...still you can put them together to have different shapes. Like that..



..or that...



...or even that.



Now this is the best! You only need to screw these two parts together to have this goblet...




...or a leg.....



...of a table (if you add one part of the pipe more).

I have one more of these "table tops" so I thought of making two the same tables for her. Unfortunately when I went back to the shop, all the pipes were gone...
I wonder if you have any other ideas how to use a pipe?;D

Ohhhh one more but Important thing: I have just noticed the number of my dear dear Followers has increased to 502!!!

Nie jestem palaczem. Jestem fanem miniatur, który czasem postrzega przedmioty inaczej niż "normalni" ludzie. Z pewnoscią jak wszyscy tutaj, albo prawie wszyscy.;) No to możecie sobie wyobrazić co pomyslałam widząc tą fajkę w sklepie? A jeszcze jak zauważyłam, że da się ją rozkręcić na 7 częsci...;)Ileż możliwosci! Doniczki? Wazony? Puchary? OK jedna ma dziurę z boku, a druga cos na kształt sita w srodku. Ale można je połączyć w różne kombinacje.:) Najlepsza jest ostatnia, bo nawet nie trzeba kleić. Wystarczy je razem skręcić i mamy puchar, albo nogę, od stołu oczywiscie. Pomyslałam, że po dodaniu kolejnej częsci stół jest na tyle wysoki, żeby P'Nilli mogła przy nim usiąsć, a że mam 2 takie "blaty" to postanowiłam kupić drugą fajkę. No tak, tylko, że gdy wróciłam do sklepu, okazało się, że wszystkie zostały wyprzedane! Ciekawa jestem Waszych pomysłów na częsci fajki.:)

No i najważniejsze, jakims cudem moich drogich Obserwatorów nagle jest ponad 500 Osób! Czyste szaleństwo jak na taki skromny blog! W każdym razie intensywnie myslę o jakims podziękowaniu. Mam nadzieję, że nastąpi to wkrótce.;)

The Little Blue Rhapsody. Mała błękitna rapsodia.

So finally one of W.I.P. is finished.:)

Somehow I really like little spaces to put a miniature scene in lately.;)



Except for the candles that were gift from Sans! everything is made by me this time.;)
Floor made of scrapbooking paper , cut into squares, glued on cardboard, cut out again, slightly lightened with white acrylic paint and varnished, as usual, with transparent nail polish. Added gray fugue too.


The curtains are made of Indian silk and cheap shawls in two colours.


All furniture you could see in previous posts about the rainbow coffee tables, Chinese furniture set and little lantern.


The only thing you haven't seen before is a vase for roses. It suits here perfectly. But it made me thinking about the name of this project for a while. The vase is made of a sample of perfume which isn't called blue rhapsody at all. ;)





So where is this scene put in?

Jeden z "projektów w trakcie" skończony. Jakos tak spodobało mi się zapełnianie niewielkich powierzchni miniaturami. Tym razem poza swiecami od Sans! wszystko zrobione jest przeze mnie. Podłoga ze scrapbookowego papieru, pocięta na kafle, podklejone do kartonu, rozjasnione białą farbą i polakierowane jak zwykle bezbarwnym lakierem do paznokci. Nie zapomniałam o szarej fudze pomiędzy kaflami.Zasłonki z tanich indyjskich jedwabnych szali. Wszystkie meble można było już obejrzeć we wczeniejszych postach. Jedynie wazon się w nich wczesniej nie pojawił. Trochę się przez niego nazastanawiałam nad nazwą tego projektu, bo z błękitną rapsodią nie ma nic wspólnego. Ale pasuje do tej niewielkiej przestrzeni.;) Mam nadzieję, że całosć się Wam spodoba, bo czeka na mnie kolejna taka latarnia do zagospodarowania!:D

A glass madness.

I promissed myself I won't order anything more this year. It's the time to find gifts for Christmas. But I have to admit, I have weaknesses. Too many of them in fact.;) Miniature's prints are one of them, glass miniatures are the other. Wandering around Etsy and, as usual looking for something completely differend, I found glass bottles. The glass bottles. And gone mad about them!:)
The shop's name is Kiva Ford. This is also the name of the glass artisan. He creates hand blown glass goblets(beautiful!), glass pendants, art glass, glass ornaments and miniature bottles. And lately even the laboratory equpement. I could have all of them. But you know how it is....So I bought these two....only.:)

I probably was one of their first international customers because they were selling only to U.S. when I found them.;) The bottles are a bit too big to 1:12 scale but soooo beautiful, so I don't mind that.:) The vase with the long neck has got a beautiful pattern at the bottom.

And this amethyst bottle is just right for Snape's office as one of the big bottles one keeps potions before pouring to the handy bottles or jars.;)

To czyste szaleństwo, ale też "niestety" słabosć...do miniatur ze szkła. Nic więc dziwnego, że gdy znalazłam sklepik Kiva Ford na Etsy musiałam cos sobie kupić... Kiva Ford to imię i nazwisko rzemieslnika, który ze szkła potrafi wyczarować: zawieszki, kielichy, dekoracje i miniaturowe butelki...Przyznaję, że te ostatnie są troszkę za duże do mojej skali, ale są tak piękne, że nie mogłam się im oprzeć. Wazon z długą szyjką ma piękny wzór na spodzie, a duża butla będzie w sam raz do gabinetu Severusa jako naczynie do przetrzymywania dużej ilosci elikisru, zanim się go przeleje do mniejszych butelek.;)
