The Floor. Podłoga.

I think I am a person who bumps on ideas very suddenly. This floor was no exception. Once I wanted it to be bleached, once dark and shiny, once brown, once black or white.
And suddenly I though of a patterned floor. Not a patterned tile, but patterned wooden floor.I used a decorative punch as a template. I cut out the pattern on a piece of a paper and put it on the floor's board, then painted the holes. In two colours.



Then I wanted the look of an used, a bit dirty floor. So I aged it here and there.;)

And first trial in my new toy.;)




Myślę, że jestem osobą wpadającą na pomysły dość nagle. Ta podłoga nie była wyjątkiem. Raz miała być wybielona, raz ciemna i lśniąca, raz brązowa, raz czarna, albo biała. I nagle pomyślałam, że chcę mieć na niej wzory. Nie kafle we wzory, ale właśnie drewnianą, malowaną podłogę. W tym celu wykorzystałam ozdobny dziurkacz. Wycięłam nim wzór na kartce papieru, przyłożyłam na deseczki i zamalowałam dziury. W dwóch kolorach. Chciałam jeszcze, żeby podłoga wyglądała na starą i zużytą, więc ją trochę postarzyłam. Na zdjęciach widać wzór w zbliżeniu i podłogę w trakcie pierwszej przymiarki w latarni.

A new toy. Nowa zabawka.

I had a dilemma. I had to choose. Between a house-looking-like greenhouse and a lantern. And boy, I wanted them both soooo much! Finally I've chosen the last one. Probably because I saw more posibilities.;) So here it is: my new toy.



The best thing is I can remove all the tea-light-sticks. I think I know what it is going to be. But knowing myself I am sure this project is going to evolve a lot in the making.;) For now I am making the floor. Of bamboo coaster.



Planning how to glue them down on the cardboard base.


Miałam dylemat. Musiałam wybierać. Pomiędzy szklarenką o kształcie domku i latarnią. Och, jak bardzo chciałam je obie! W końcu wybrałam latarnię. Chyba zobaczyłam w niej więcej możliwości. Oto moja nowa zabawka.:) Najfajniejsze jest w niej to, że mogę zdjąć wszystkie świeczniczki. Chyba już wiem co w niej będzie. Ale znając siebie wiem też, że projekt na pewno będzie ewoluował w trakcie tworzenia.;) Na razie robię podłogę. Z bambusowej podkładki. Planuję jak przykleić patyczki na kartonową bazę.

I really have enough of storms and rains this summer. I do love cooler weather but not with the showers 10 times a day and storms at least once a day.

Still the sky after and before storms can be charming....

My July Girl ready! Moja Lipcowa Dziewczyna gotowa!

So she is ready now.:)
I have to admit I wanted to make the Bride for sometime now.
It's probably because of Betsy and Victoria's wedding stories.;)
Or maybe it's because of Sans who liked my first Bride a bit when she saw her while visiting me.:)
Or maybe because of this pretty lace I ordered from Cottonholic.
I knew it must be used in the wedding dress.



This time the skirt was sewn together and so was the lace on it. Being not-gifted-sewer-at-all I still think it looks quite good.





The rest of the gown was glued together with lace on top of it.




The necklace is made of real pearls. I was really happy I could finally use them.:)


About her hair, well....it's her second hairdo as I wanted to add a few coloured strands. And of course it was a complete disaster. I had to throw out a lot of viscose to the trashes. While working on her hair again I managed to add only one fair strand to her forelocks.

No i Dziewczyna Lipca gotowa. Od jakiegoś już czasu chciałam zrobić suknię ślubną. Sama nie wiem czemu? Może to przez weselne historie Betsy i Victorii? Może dlatego, że moja pierwsza suknia ślubna bardzo podobała się Sans. A może dlatego, że urzekła mnie koronka, którą udało mi się kupić w Cottonholic. Wiedziałam, że użyć jej mogę tylko w sukni ślubnej. Tym razem spódnica jest ręcznie szyta i ma też naszytą koronkę. Góra jednak jest już jak zwykle klejona.:) Naszyjnik zrobiony jest z najprawdziwszych perełek. Cieszyłam się , że w końcu znalazłam dla nich zastosowanie. Co do włosów to..jest to druga fryzura lalki. Zachciało mi się dodać kolorowych pasemek no i poniosłam sromotną klęskę na tym polu, z wyrzuceniem do smieci całkiem sporej ilości wiskozy. Koniec końców udało mi się dodać aż jedno jasne pasemko do grzywki.;)Mam nadzieję, że Moja Dziewczyna Lipca Wam się spodoba.:)

My June.... ahhh no! My July Girl. 1 Moja Czerwcowa...ach nie! Moja Lipcowa Dziewczyna. 1

O.K. so I didn't manage to make My June Girl. Don't know why, really. Maybe because my laptop again landed in computer service or the longest days went so fast away.;)
Instead I decided to make My July Girl earlier.

A small problem for me were the doll's original shoes as I wanted contemporary dress this time. I really like this kind of shoes....


...but now I needed something modern.



I decided to use the buttons anyway.



And here is the doll...Her modeled corset is pretty too. Still, I won't need it anyway.

Right now she is waiting for her hair and some detiles.




Nie zdążyłam z Moją Dziewczyną Czerwca, ale za to Dziewczyna Lipca już prawie gotowa. Musiałam wprowadzić parę zmian, bo tym razem wymodelowane buty(których kształt nota bene bardzo lubię)nie będą pasowały do współczesnej dziewczyny. Zachowałam jednak guziki starając się je użyć w nowych butach. Podobnie wymodelowany gorset też tym razem mi się nie przyda. Póki co panna czeka na włosy i dodatki.

Don't know what I did to deserve her trust but she was kind enough to have faith in my skills I had (and still have) no idea about.

This beautiful Lady's first request was a coplete surprise, joy and challenge for me.

And so was the second.

Do you know already who I am writing about? Yup! Our dear dear Sans!:)



At first I thought: "Nooooooooo way!! I can't make something THAT complicated!" I even asked her for the photos of less complicated examples. After all I have never seen this shape on my own eyes.

Still this little strange voice in my head was stubbornly saying "Give it a try! You will be sorry if you don't!". Of course it was adding I can't dissapoint the only Person who has such a big amount of faith in me! So I gave it a try.





Although I sent the photos of it to Sans and she was kind enough to be a bit surprised I made it so quick and she said she liked it.;D
Still I couldn't stop thinking "It is just not good enough and I can't send anything to my dear Friend if I am not satysified with it too!" Why you ask? Because of it:



Yup, the arms are not straight!
So not saying to Sans a word, I made another one. It is a bit different than the first one and the arms are straight(er).;)





And it is white. I decided not to even try to age it as Sans is just an Expert of it. So I left this work to her.;)
The chair is safely at her home now and she wrote she liked it.
Which made me a very happy person.:)


Nie wiem czym zasłużyłam sobie na jej zaufanie, ale jest tak miłą osobą, która ma wiarę w moje zdolnosci, o których nawet ja nie mam pojęcia. Jej pierwsza prosba była zaskoczeniem, radoscią i wyzwaniem dla mnie. Taka też była jej druga prosba.Kogo? Sans oczywiscie! W pierwszym momencie pomyslałam, że to absolutnie niemożliwe, żebym cos takiego zbudowała, nawet poprosiłam ją o fotki mniej skomplkowanego modelu.W końcu w życiu nie widziałam czegos takiego na własne oczy. Ale gdzies tam we mnie tkwiło przekonanie, że muszę spróbować, bo jesli nie,to będę sama tego żałować.No i nie mogłam zawiesć Sans!Spróbowałam, wysłałam fotki. Sans była zachwycona, ale ja, nie. Dlaczego? Bo ramiona nie wyszły tak prosto jak powinny. Nie mogłam wysłać jej czegos co mnie się nie podobało. Nie mówiąc jej więc nic zrobiłam jeszcze jedno krzesło. Tym razem wyszło nieco inne ale z prostszymi ramionami. Nie postarzyłam go, bo doszłam do wniosku, że specjalistką od postarzania jest Sans własnie i ona zrobi to najlepiej. Krzesło jest już u Sans i jej się podoba. A to dla mnie najlepsza nagroda.:)

A pipe. Fajka.

First of all: I am not a smoker. I am just a fan of miniatures that sees sometimes things different than "normal" people. Just like all(or most) of us.;) Sooooo guess what I thought about when I saw this pipe?



Ohh... still in the shop I noticed I can brake it down into parts. Seven parts to be exact.



I just wonder how many ideas you can have with so pretty shapes? Pots, vases, goblets i.e.?



O.K., let's face it: one has a hole and the other one kind of sieve inside...



...still you can put them together to have different shapes. Like that..



..or that...



...or even that.



Now this is the best! You only need to screw these two parts together to have this goblet...




...or a leg.....



...of a table (if you add one part of the pipe more).



P'Nilli's table for example.;)



I have one more of these "table tops" so I thought of making two the same tables for her. Unfortunately when I went back to the shop, all the pipes were gone...
I wonder if you have any other ideas how to use a pipe?;D

Ohhhh one more but Important thing: I have just noticed the number of my dear dear Followers has increased to 502!!!
I am soooo in shock and sooo gratefull you follow my modest blog!!!!

Nie jestem palaczem. Jestem fanem miniatur, który czasem postrzega przedmioty inaczej niż "normalni" ludzie. Z pewnoscią jak wszyscy tutaj, albo prawie wszyscy.;) No to możecie sobie wyobrazić co pomyslałam widząc tą fajkę w sklepie? A jeszcze jak zauważyłam, że da się ją rozkręcić na 7 częsci...;)Ileż możliwosci! Doniczki? Wazony? Puchary? OK jedna ma dziurę z boku, a druga cos na kształt sita w srodku. Ale można je połączyć w różne kombinacje.:) Najlepsza jest ostatnia, bo nawet nie trzeba kleić. Wystarczy je razem skręcić i mamy puchar, albo nogę, od stołu oczywiscie. Pomyslałam, że po dodaniu kolejnej częsci stół jest na tyle wysoki, żeby P'Nilli mogła przy nim usiąsć, a że mam 2 takie "blaty" to postanowiłam kupić drugą fajkę. No tak, tylko, że gdy wróciłam do sklepu, okazało się, że wszystkie zostały wyprzedane! Ciekawa jestem Waszych pomysłów na częsci fajki.:)

No i najważniejsze, jakims cudem moich drogich Obserwatorów nagle jest ponad 500 Osób! Czyste szaleństwo jak na taki skromny blog! W każdym razie intensywnie myslę o jakims podziękowaniu. Mam nadzieję, że nastąpi to wkrótce.;)
