Swaps. Wymianki.

I know I am not posting often lately but I try to keep up with your posts and comment them more or less regularly. ;)

So today I decided to catch up with everything and will post a few post one after another. ;) The first today's post is about swaps with blog friends I owe them so much!

First is a swap with my dear Friend, Betsy. I always admire her paintings and to be honest since she showed her icons she was generously giving away sometime ago I wanted one for myself very, very much.
So once she said she liked my cradle I asked her if she would like a little swap.
And here is what I got. Quite a lot!

See this special postcard painted by Betsy? How did she know I love Greek islands??  She added pretty fabrics - I used a part of one in Tsuki's Nook already.

And finally the pretty pretty icon! I am sorry I couldn't photograph it  well enough so that you could see it's pure beauty!
Can you imagine to paint such small icon? I can't. So I am so happy to have it home!
Thank you very very much dear Betsy for sharing your stunning talent with me!

Do you remember the green armchair I bought sometime ago? I had written I would give it away as it was too big for my scale.
I am happy to say it is living in Sweden now with a talented and sweet Polish blog Friend who lives in Sweden now.:) Th armchair suits her doll nice and this is what I've got from Ewa.

She even went shopping to Crazy 4 Minis shop over there!:) Her pretty notebooks and little latern you could see in Tsuki's Nook too!

Thank you, Jollie!!!!!!!!!

I should have written this post months ago, I know. Somehow I couldn't organize myself lately, sorry about that. But in the meantime I did email Jollie with "thank you" already:)
So today I wanted to officially say: thank you from the bottom of my heart, Jollie! Thank you for your generous and good heart!:)
Jollie and I were emailing each other sometime ago and she'd known about my work situation a bit earlier than I wrote about it here. She sent me a parcel to cheer me up and for good luck too. She said it would have been something small but just look at that! She thought not only about me but my....BJDolls too!!!

I was really touched by all these little things, specially by this poppy necklace Jollie made herself and all the tiny seashells and stones that remind me about all the holidays I spent on the Greek islands. She couldn't know that but I've been bringing a few shells from every trip or holidays I spend on the river or seafront. I have a very special place for them....

Yes, a little glass aquarium with fish! Nope, there is no water inside and the fish I brought from our trip to Israel. I couldn't find English name of them but they are also called St.Peter's fish. The key rings are too delicate to wear them with the keys so now they "swim" above the shells from Greece, Israel, Italy, Scotland, Tunisia and some other countries that my friends went to too.:)

Thank you, Jollie once again! Everytime I look at the blue key-ring that hangs on my closet's handle I think of you generous heart.:)

Podziękowanie dla Jollie, która postanowiła mnie pocieszyć gdy dowiedziała się o mojej sytuacji. Cudowna Dziewczyna! :)

A tasty treat from Greece!

Have I ever mention that my favourite holidays are spending time on Greek islands? Probably not yet;) Being from Poland means mostly cheaper hotels ;) which is not bad because they are often leaded by a few-generation-family and watching their relationships is one of the most interesting things for me.;) Me and my travel's mate just love to walk around, visit every museum, church, shop, go by car, boat, bus wherever we can and of course take millions of photographs. I love the sun light, the colour of the sky, of the sea, the smell of thyme, or the smell of grill around the taverns or even the sounds of scooters;) And of course I love the food! I am absolutely happy when I have tzatziki, Greek salad, saganaki, souvlaki, cafe frappe and fresh orange juice on the table in front of me!:D There is something on these islands that makes me feel relaxed, no one is in a hurry, slowly doing their things, no rush. I also think I was lucky because I really have no even one bad experience there so far.:)

So what made me to write about this? A gift from very talented Anthoula! Some time ago I sent some bits and pieces I thought they might be useful for her beautifull food miniatures and a couple days ago I got this great tray full of goodies!

I love the transparency of the onion's half dials!:)

And this piece of lemon is so ... sweet!:D

Thank you so much Ahthoula for thinking of me!! I am so happy to have your great minis! I am sure I will order some Greek food from you soon.:D Thank you for your generostity!!

Jakis czas temu wysłałam parę drobiazgów do Anthouli, mając nadzieję, że będzie mogła je wykorzystać przy tworzeniu swoich miniatur żywniosciowych. Dwa dni temu dostałam w podziękowaniu tę tacę z wiktułałami:D Bardzo podoba mi się przezroczystosć tych talarków cebuli i ta cytrynka pływająca w herbatce!:D
