More Old than New. ;) Więcej "starych " niż nowych. ;)

It's been quite a long silence, please forgive me.  I was reading your posts and leaving comments but somehow I again neglected this blog a bit.

So today a kind of summary of what was made in my workshop during  this time. You will see there are more "old" - well known to you- pieces than new. :)

I sold my rainbow coffee tables and made two new ones.
 

This time they are a bit bigger and wider.

Then there was a second high chair. This time my customer sent me a doll to make it right for her/him, so I played a bit as I finished it. ;)

And another embroidery stand number 1, so I decided to make an option in my Etsy shop for anyone that would like to order it.

 I finally found the time to make all 5 doll kits that arrived to me last and this year. Unfortunately I have to sell them, that's just life...

Then I'd got an order for my telephone side table.

Oh, by the way I've learnt that original, RL side table was made by Chippendale - not really sure if this is true, but that's what I found out about it. ;)

So this is what was happening in my workshop lately. Hope you like them all. :)

 Znowu mam obsuwę w publikowaniu postów, na swoje usprawiedliwienie mogę tylko powiedzieć, że Wasze blogi czytam na bieżąco. :) Dziś więc takie małe zestawienie tego, co powstało w czasie gdy milczałam na blogu.

Sprzedałam moje tęczowe stoliki, więc w ich miejsce powstały dwa kolejne, nieco wyższe i z większymi blatami.

Następnie powstało kolejne wysokie krzesełko, tym razem klientka wypożyczyła mi lalkę, żeby pasowała idealnie do krzesełka(lub odwrotnie), więc mogłam trochę się nimi pobawić. ;)

Później pojawił się kolejny stolik do haftu nr 1, zdecydowałam więc wstawić opcję zamówienia go  w moim SKLEPIE .

W końcu znalazłam czas, żeby poskładać 5 zestawów lalek, które otrzymałam w tym i zeszłym roku.

A potem pojawiło się zamówienie na mój stolik pod telefon.

No i to już na razie wszystko z mojej pracowni. Mam nadzieję, że się Wam podoba. :)

In Black. W czerni.

As it seems miniature and non miniature houses are rather full of shabby chic mania, whites and/or delicate pastel colours lately I was quite surprised to get not one but two requests in which main colour is black.

One of the request was quite unusual to me as I was asked to make a modern washstand with two sinks and mirrors. Colours, wallpaper and measurements were chosen and given to me so I had to make everything right.

The sinks were the hardest part for me as I am not usually working with any clay and I waisted quite a lot of it before I figured it out the less work put in making them is ... better! LOL! 

I hand made it all except for the mirrors. But if I had let's say 20 days more for making the whole thing I would try to make the frames for them by myself.

The other request was something I did two or three times before. Only this time I was asked to make my telephone side table in glossy black. It was not an easy task to do, though.

Hope you don't mind my long absence from posting anything here and that you will like these two black miniatures! :)

Moje dwie ostatnie prace, na przekór wszech królującej bieli i pudrowym pastelom, w czerni.;)

Obie powstały na zamówienie i przyznam, że były nie lada wyzwaniem.

 Jak wiecie nowoczesne meble nie są tym czym się głównie zajmuję, ale było miło popracować w takim stylu.

Nie lada wyzwanie stanowiły dla mnie umywalki, bo generalnie nie pracuję z glinką i chyba mam też do tego za ciepłe dłonie. ;) Okazało się, że  zasada im prościej tym lepiej stosuje się też do pracy przy miniaturach. ;)

Jedyne czego nie zrobiłam w tym zamówieniu sama to lustra. Ze względu na termin oddania zamówienia nie zdążyłabym zrobić rzeźbionych ramek do luster, ale gdyby to było tak ze 20 dni więcej to z przyjemnością dałabym radę. :)

Druga praca, to znany Wam stolik pod telefon. Tym razem zażyczono sobie wykończenie w czerni na wysoki połysk.

Mam nadzieję, że obie prace się Wam spodobają. :)

Last but one order for this year. Przedostatnie zamówienie w tym roku.

To właśnie był jeden z powodów mojej nieobecności na blogu. Trochę mi czasu to zamówienie zajęło. Cieszę się bardzo, że trafi do Klientki w Polsce.:)

New pieces of furniture. Nowe meble.

Today's post no 3.;)

Actually one is new and one is not, kind of. ;)

So the new piece is a rocking swan in 1/12 scale. As usual inspired by real life piece I saw on the photo.

And this one is no 2 of this side table. Only now it is a bit wider and higher than the previous one.

This is commissioned piece. I repainted it so many times! Need to figure out easier method. ;) Hope the new owner will like it once she gets it!

Post nr 3.

Tak właściwie to jeden mebelek jest nowy a drugi nie do końca. ;)

Nowy jest łabędź na biegunach - inspiracja prawdziwym modelem dla dzieci. Ten oczywiście jest zaprojektowany i ręcznie zrobiony przeze mnie.

Drugi mebelek to numer 2 tego stoliczka. Tym razem jest nieco wyższy i szerszy.
Dość długo nie mogłam dojść do ładu z malowaniem, chyba muszę wymyślić jakąś prostszą metodę. Ten stoliczek był robiony na zamówienie. Mam nadzieję, że spodoba się Klientce jak już dostanie go z całym zamówieniem. :)

Number one and number four. Nr jeden i nr cztery.

I wanted to title this post: "a little helper and number 4", but I remembered this kind of furniture is called "helper" only in Polish and not in English, lol!

Anyway, here is a little side table made by me, with temporary arrangement. The table is as usual based on the photo I saw on internet and I thought it would be good to make a piece of furniture for a kitchen.:)

All glass  on top made by Glasscraft, is  available in my shop.
Roses are gift from Flor, cupcakes from Ira,  fruits from Glenda, the rest is hand made by me. ;)
I thought of taking this table for my vernissage but I guess glass is too fragile so the top will look a bit different.

Or like that.

Oops! Forgot to put the drawers back! LOL!

And here is - finally ready - a cradle no 4. This one is for a Friend.:)
(Hope you haven't got bored with my cradles yet! LOL!)

Funny, I have made 4 of them so far and have none as an example in my workshop.:) So this one will go to my Friend after my "show". ;)

Chciałam post zatytułować: "Mały Pomocnik i nr 4", ale w porę mi się przypomniało, że pomocnik nie nazywa się pomocnik po angielsku.;)
W każdym razie dziś pokazuję mój nowy stolik z tymczasową aranżacją blatu.;) Stolik, jak zwykle, zrobiony na podstawie zdjęcia znalezionego w internecie.
Piękne szkło z Glasscraft'a dostępne w moim Sklepie. Polecam! 
Róże, babeczki i owoce to prezenty od blogowych Przyjaciół. Reszta zrobiona przeze mnie.

Chciałam tak zastawiony stół zabrać na wernisaż, ale szkło jest delikatne więc pojedzie wersja nr 2 z jednym z moich młynków do kawy.;) Ups, sorki za brak szuflad! Zapomniałam je włożyć do zdjęcia.;)

Oprócz tego dziś - w końcu! - kołyska nr 4. Ta jest dla jednej z Przyjaciółek-Blogerek.:)
Zabawne, ale wszystkie kołyski poszły "w świat" i nie mam ani jednego egzemplarza u siebie więc nr 4 wystąpi na wernisażu zanim pojedzie do nowego domu.:)

I know I am not a perfect blogger lately but here it is what I've been making lately.

Does this cupboard look familiar? ;) This time it is made of wood and in 1:12 scale. The colour is of customer's choice.

Another cradle - I still prefer it in brown ....

It is also in 1:12 scale - you may remember no 1 was slightly smaller as it was supposed to suit the lantern - yup, will show it ready soon.:)

And this is a pendant I add to the miniatures made by me now.:)

Ostatnie zamówienia z Pracowni.
Tak, ten kredens powinien wyglądać znajomo.;) Tym razem jest drewniany i w skali 1:12, kolor - wybór  Klienta.
Kołyska nr 2 - wciąż bardziej mi się podoba brązowa i z politurą, ale: nasz Klient nasz Pan.;) Odrobinę szersza niż nr 1, który miał pasować do latarenki.:)
I zawieszka, którą dołączam do miniatur robionych przez Pracownię.:)
