What a beautiful disaster....:( Jaka piękna katastrofa...:(

Okay, it is not beautiful.
Guess my bad luck is still with me.;) I did plan to post about something nice but....

It's disaster that stroke me today at 07:45 in the morning. Strangely it didn't hit me although I was still sleeping at that time... Dear Sans who was here last year will probably be able to imagine that it could hit me if it did want to...
So what happened? Well..... this is my favourite project now. Yes, Snape's Office upside down....

The Office fell down together with it's shelf which was hanging over my DelPrado dolhouse, 2 meters height... The biggest loss is my laboratory table...

.... the fireplace....

 ...the stool and some beautiful miniatures I was collecting for this project.

I cleaned up the broken walls....

......to see how much stuff I could still use...

For now that's it. Need to find boxes for all the tiny things.
At this time I am not sure if I rebuild this. Even if I do I am not going to use the clay bricks. Although I think it was not entirely their fault, they made this roombox very heavy....

Tiaaa, może nie piękna, ale to co widzicie to właśnie Gabinet Severusa dzisiejszego ranka.....Spadł wraz z całą półką na której stał...Cóż...nie wiem czy go odbuduję, ale nawet jeśli, to już nie użyję cegiełek. Chociaż mogły nie być przyczyną tej katastrofy, to jednak sprawiły, że roombox był bardzo ciężki....

Lately my dear Friend Glenda offered on her blog Peppercorn Minis some wonderful miniatures to give away. I was very very very lucky to get a great wizard set, wonderful rugs made by Glenda - I looooooooove them all and admire your talents my Friend:D - and yummy fruits.

They all will find their homes in my future projects. As you can see one of them already is in it's new place.:)

The wands you can see on the first photo are a bit bigger than 1:12 scale and are just perfect for my BJDolls to play wizards.;D

Jakis czas temu Glenda zdecydowała się oddać miniatury, których już nie potrzebowała, w dobre ręce.;D Udało mi się w ten sposób dostać rzeczy, które możecie podziwiać na pierwszej fotce. Ogromne wrażenie zrobiły - i zawsze robią - na mnie te miniaturowe dywaniki, które są własnoręcznym dziełem Glendy. Jestem pewna, że każda z miniatur znajdzie swoje miejsce w któryms z moich przyszłych projektów, jak choćby ta niebieska butelka, która już stoi w gabinecie Severusa. Różczki, które widać na pierwszej fotce są oczywicie większe niż skala 1:12 i nadają się idealnie dla moich lalek BJD, które w związku z tym wkrótce, niespodziewanie dla siebie, mogą się znaleźć w magicznym swiecie;D

I know, I shoud be...

...working on my greenhouse or the small retreat I bought for my birthday or planning on Spinner's End( which I actually started to collect books to - hope they won't be lost anywhere...)...
But instead of that I am working on - well, guess... ;D - the external walls of the Snape's office! I know, I know, it is becoming scary, not to mention boring, but I planned some "plants" before and finally added a few here and there. So, here we go - the only good thing is I didn't post this side of the walls for a long time.;)
This wall is finally finished for good.


And here I need to wait for the "soil" to dry so I could paint it.


And I have to warn you I have a few more ideas but they will have to wait a while.:)

Wiem, powinnam popracować nad szklarenką, albo zacząć pracę nad moim urodzinowym prezentem lub zaplanować budowę Spinner's End(można by rzec, że zaczęłam ją już od zbierania książek...), ale zamiast tego wciąż cos robię w gabinecie Severusa. Tym razem popracowałam nad dodatkami do scian zewnętrznych. "Roslinnosć" zaplanowałam tu już dawno temu i w końcu przyszła pora na to, by ją zasadzić. Pierwsza sciana jest już skończona, przy drugiej czekam jeszcze na wyschnięcie "ziemi", wtedy będę ją mogła pomalować. Coż, nie zaprzeczam, że mam jeszcze parę pomysłów, tylko, że teraz będą musiały trochę jeszcze poczekać.:)

Today I am posting a few photos of the office - hope you are not bored with it yet... There are two lamps in the office. A lamp and a candlestick of five candles. Unfortunately this last source of light is barely incandescing instead of giving a lot of light. I have no idea why.
I also realized my camera is not good when it comes to the night photos and I am sorry for the poor quality of the photos.
Anyway here you can see the only good working lamp in the office...;)




Dzis kolejnych parę fotek gabinetu - mam nadzieję, że Was jeszcze nim nie zanudziłam. W gabinecie mam dwie lampy, a raczej lampę i swiecznik. Niestety, z nieznanych mi przyczyn ten ostatni ledwo się żarzy, zamiast mocno swiecić. Więc dzis fotki z włączoną tylko jedną lampą.

2 little changes and a request for an advice :D

So, I am leaving for Warsaw again...this time I'll be back for the weekend only. I have to say I don't like this business trips at all but I quess I have no choice.
I am leaving you with two little additions to Snape's office. Hope you like them!


The leaves are from Ira and the blood phial from Margaret - as you may remember.

Now about this advice: Kate asked me a few times if I have plans for the next dollshouses or roomboxes. I have a few (most of them not related to magic world...)but to no surprise the Spinner's End is one of them. ;) I am not saying I will be building it already and haven't decided if it is going to be only a roombox or the whole house yet. But I am thinking more about the house. And my request concerns your advice, please: if I was to build the house of Snape's family what do you think it could look like? Remember the description, please - the living room and two secret doors, one leading to the kitchen the other one to the stairs. Maybe my British Friends could tell me what the house like that could look like? What do you all think? Links and photos are welcome!;D Thank you in advance! :D

Znowu wyjeżdżam do Warszawy. I to na całe 5 dni. Nie powiem, żebym lubiła te biznesowe wyjazdy...Zostawiam Was na cały tydzień z fotkami dwóch niewielkich zmian w gabinecie. Liscie dostałam od Iry, fiolkę z krwią od Margaret. Mam nadzieję, że się Wam podobają.
Mam też prosbę o udzielenie porady.:) Kate pytała mnie parokrotnie co planuję dalej. Mam parę pomysłów i choć nie obejmują one już swiata magii, to jednak myslę o Spinners End. Chciałabym poprosić Was o Waszą opinię, jak według Was wyglądałby rodzinny dom Severusa? Pamiętajcie proszę o książkowym opisie parteru i domu wogóle. Z góry dziękuję za cenne pomysły!:)

A new shelf

I had to make it to show off this fab probe on stand made by Ericka VanHorn. It is the most simple shelf you can possible imagine. I painted it with sienna acrylic paint added a bit of brown one and then polished the edges with quite thick sandpaper and glued to the wall.


I like it.:)

Nowa półka u Severusa. No przecież napisałam, że mam parę pomysłów, prawda?.;)A do tej super probówki na statywie od Ericki VanHorn, musiałam koniecznie cos wymyslić. To najprostsza półeczka na swiecie, pomalowałam ją farbą akrylową o nazwie siena i poscierałam brzegi całkiem gruboziarnistym papierem sciernym, przykleiłam do sciany i gotowe!
