The sentences finally on the walls

First of all I want to say: a big thank you, Michelle, for the ideas!:) I really was thinking about them but I finally decided to write the Latin sentences on the walls myself :) There are two reasons for it. One: it is the cheapest way to do it;). The second and much more important: there are going to be shelves on the walls there, so most of my scrawlings are not going to be seen at all. Ha! So that is how the office looks like with the sentences on the walls. Sorry for the quality of my writing!(It was supposed to be alike the Gothic letters I found on the internet:P)

I think you're referring to the stencil idea for the letters?

I think this is great, I'm not sure I could have done this and no I'm not doing it for my potion's room in Hogwarts! Hmm artistic licence will reign! lol

I love the fact that you wrote it by hand Ewa. I think it adds a bit more magic when handwritten. Love the room and I´m so looking forwrd to see when you start putting in the furnitures and stuff...

Yes, Michelle, exactly to it:) Hmm are you suggesting the WB would put me to jail for the sentences?;) Let's hope not:)I just might go over to your place and paint some Latin on your potion room's walls if you want to;)Thank you so much, Michelle!

I truly love how this is comming up. I too think that the writting is a great idea. you can get free fonts online... do you know how to add to your computer? let me know if you need help, I first struggled not in downloading but making it available in my softwares ... it is not difficult but one needs to know how....smiles~

LOL Ewa,

No not at all. :o) My potion rooms walls are rough like old plaster and not at all like in the film - hence artistic licence used. :o))

Your room is more loyal to one in the film. You’ve done a fab job. :o))

The lettering is just great, such an original touch. And I think the door hinges are fantastic too. For various reasons I haven't been commenting much lately but I have been keeping an eye on what's been going on ;)
