Maybe you remember that I showed
empty Avon's jars some time ago? Here are the first lots of them finally filled in:
What do we have inside? Let's see...From left to right: mint tea, flower's petals, orchid's leaves, orchid's roots(they look a bit like bones:))
Here you see: parsley's leaves, cinnamon (that shortly before putting to the jar, spent some time in my hot wine drink;)), gloves, another orchid's root, some dry plant, another piece of cinnamon:). No harm done to any of the alive plants ;)

Fab jars... At first I thought the roots were octopusarms...
Annie :D THank you so much! I never thought about it but this is a great idea for the label:) Glad you like them:)
They look really good! Guess what I've been doing today? Some potion bottles - there's some fenix feathers, enchanted dreams, chopped fledling fingers, slytherianicas flexubulatus eggs, dragon tears - would you know anyone need of them? ;)
Ira
They look very interesting. I am in a potion jar making mood myself at the moment. It's fun.
Yes! Yes! Yes! Me! Me! Me! eeee Snape that is! Still lots of shelves empty...Oh Ira! Didn't I say you are too good to me before? So fascinating ingredients - that fingers hmmm...;) Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Te han quedado muy realistas.
Que vas a poner agua o el gel que se utiliza para simular agua?
besitos ascension
Thank you so much Janice! They are a lot of fun:) Hope to see yours soon!:)
Muchas gracias Ascension! Yes, I found something like that I will post about it soon:)Besitos
Your little Avon Jars look great filled..xx
They look fabulous -- quite mysterious, actually!
Thank you so much, Debbie! Glad you like them :)
Yhank you so much Nina! That would mean I acheved them looking the way I wanted;) Happy you like them too!:)
Ewa, love those jars. May I know how you eventually removed those labels?
Thank you so much, Sans! Unfortunately I tried all the methods I knew and friends told me and nothing happened to the labels - they are kind of printed in the glass. Luckily for me there is a place without the label on the Avon jar so all the jars were put this side in front of the camera ;) That's how they will stand on the shelves in the office too. But you know that these jars are much bigger than jars usually used in 1:12 scale.
Ahh, thank you, dear! I could never remove those labels as well :). You know in many Chinese medicine shops here (some look like witches' potion shops if you ask me :) but I do believe their medicine work to a certain extent), they have huge jars that is half a body length. So no fixed rules about size, I guess :).
Must be very interesting shops! Wish I could see them one day ;)
Yea :). If you google "Chinese Medical shops" or Chinese medical jars" you will get a feel of what they are like. The contents in those jars should be real inspiration for your potion ;). I still remember when I was a child, how my dad kept jars of live bugs in my room. The sinsei (Chinese doctor) has prescribed them to be eaten as treatment for his asthma. That's better than swallowing live mouse with preserved cabbage. Kid you not. :)
Thanks Sans! I will look for them there. The medicaments sound rather horrible - were they at least helpful?:)
Ewa, don't worry about the size of these bottles. Prof. Snape has some truly huge bottles on the floor (that go all around the potion room shelves). If you haven't spotted then in the films there are lots of shots of them in the most recent film. ;o))
You could always add some of your own labels? :o)
Michelle xxxx
Hey Michelle! I am not worried about the size of the bottles :) In fact they are easier to fill in than the proper sized 1:12 jars ;o) I was even to order one or two really big bottles but they are gone by now. Well maybe that's better, the office is not that big after all ;o)
You know what, Ewa, my dad hasn't had an asthma attack for decades :).
Hmm if it works, then maybe I would eat one just to try if is does....;)Good for your Dad!
It´s scary, I love that. Thanks for show.
Jana
