The Old Town in Toruń is one of our national and UNESCO treasures. It was also one of the cities where our world famous astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus lived.
I actually took about 200 photos...but do not worry I am not going to put all of them here. But "a few", yes. So I divided the Toruń show into a few parts and here are pretty houses and the detiles you can see there.
The prettiest prettie right next to our hotel :)
A bit of France perhaps?;)
My favourite window:)

Ewa,
Thank you so much for these BEAUTIFUL photos. I loved seeing them. How wonderful to have such gorgeous buildings. The USA has nothing like it. :-(
Oh don't worry Catherine, my city isn't even 100 years old!;D
Really? Ewa ? In less than 100 years, you can have such beautiful buildings?? Singapore is only as old as me which is ancient in human age but a child in the history of the world :).
If I am in Torun, I will probably take 1000 pictures :). You live in a great country, Ewa. A country who can boasts of sons like Chopin and Copernicus and daughters like Marie Curie and Ewa :). You must be so proud :) :).
I would not mind to see the whole bunch of the 200 photos... great pics, Ewa. They have so many details on the houses in these old, wealthy towns (No doubt Torún must have been a rich city), it's always a pleasure to watch them in whole or in detail.
Greetings
Birgit
Dear Sans you made me smile if not laugh:) Acient in human age????LOL
Yes, Gdynia as the city isn't 100 years old just yet but as a village it is really old;)
Toruń on the other hand is really old city and was lucky not to be as much destroyed as Warszawa was during WWII. So there is a lot to see there:)
And you really are too kind for me dear Friend! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much Brigit! Your country is full of great monuments and buildings too:)
Ewa, gracias por estas fantasticas fotografias.
Se pueden coger miles de ideas, lo malo sera que luego salgan bien (a mi...) jejeje
