She is a twin sister of my sleeping half doll you may still remember.
She is not an easy going doll. ;)
For she had her own vision who(or what ;) ) she wanted to be...
I had planned her to be a gift for a friend but while I was dressing her up she didn't like what I made for her and she talked the fabric to ... not to listen to me at all, lol! So I gave up and worked with her 'half-sister' first.
Then I thought I should dress her up a bit similar to her half sister. But the dressed doll looked like she wanted to say these laces just were so not for her. I put the doll to the box as she was with painted face, put together, with none of the hair.
And then when I made chaise longue I knew I needed something more to it.
I heard quiet knocking from that box. She looked at chaise longue and I think she liked it as suddenly she started to cooperate soooo well!
While she was sitting ready on the chaise longue she said she wants shoes. But not a pair of them ... She said she wants to have a lot of... shoes!
That's how she's became a shoe model....
Although my shoes are not perfect as yet she seems to enjoy looking at my "funny" efforts. ;)
I will use her to make removable doll shoes.:) First pairs you can see below, they are not perfect that's why the photo is small, lol!
Her skirt is made of a man's tie.
I had only a poor pieces of viscose in few colours left which weren't enough to make her one-colour wig so she's got four colour wig. ;)
I hope you will like her and my little scene!

Trafiła więc z powrotem do pudełka.
I czekała tam sobie aż powstał szezlong. Czegoś mi do niego brakowało.
I wtedy usłyszałam ciche pukanie dochodzące z pudełka.

Fryzura i kolor włosów są rewelacyjne! Jestem zachwycona całą lalką, gdybym ją miała przebierałabym ją całymi dniami :)

Dear Ewa, your doll is gorgeous!! I like what you did with her hair and the clothes :D! So you also are a shoemaker ;)! They look beautiful, although I can't see them very well, because you are so clever to place a small photo: great trick :D. No, I am joking, I really think shoe making in miniature is quite difficult.
I wish you a nice weekend!
Big hug, Ilona...............who is still suffering with her tile floor *sigh*... Tomorrow I will do an attempt for the grouting after making hundreds of tiles, so please: fingers crossed that the tiles will not be spoiled by the grout ;)!
I love everything about her!. Especially her hair and facial expression. :-)
Such lovely scene, Ewa!
Wow, Ewa! She is Amazing! I think it is true that our projects talk to us...! LOL! She had a lot to say to you and it all worked out to be Fantastic! I LOVE the idea of a shoe model!!! And she is so focused on her feet! I agree that she is Perfect for the chaise! Her hair is also a great idea! So often we forget that hair is not all the same color... like mine.... some gray, some brown... LOL!!! She is really beautiful!
Pozdrawiam
Well, that lady knows exactly what she wants and even more what not... so you should take it as a big compliment that she likes your first shoe attempts very much. Nevertheless I think she will be expecting many, many more coming soon... real soon... ;O) Great work and a very clever way to give her a "job"... and I really like her hair - sometimes it's good when you have no other choice but to try something with the materials you have at home!
Hugs
