Didn’t I say last time I cut these pillowcases into pieces? Well I DID cut them into stripes and left them for a long time, as you already know.
Recently I finally found a fluid against unravel fabric’s edges over here. And it actually works quite well on this fabric, so I could cut the stripes into even smaller squares. Then I could safely bend them and glue the edges together. That is how these little purses were made.
All I needed was something to imitate the locks and/or hanldes. And these I found in long, cheap earrings!
So here you have little – well not THAT little when it comes to 1:12 scale;) - vintage bags inspired by dear Sans and made of Indian pillowcases!
Hope you will like them.:)

WOW! Ewa, they are GORGEOUS!!! I LOVE them! ALL of them! But my favorite is the RED one at the bottom of the first picture! You have been VERY inventive with the earring pieces! The cloth is LOVELY! And I LOVE your technique for displaying them!!! Very pretty and clever! (For a minute I thought they were on pieces of mini furniture you have not been sharing with us!)
Fantastic - they look like designer pieces! The fabrics are pretty and the metal work fits perfect! I'm curious now for the results of inspiration No. 3... ;O)
Greetings
Birgit
These are beautiful! I really like the black one.
Świetne są, super realistyczne! No i te rączki/zapięcia...
