...has started today at 4 in the morning, warm, summery, sunny day. If not the chesnuts falling down the trees you could believe it is still summer.;)
As far as nuts are concerned, two days ago I received this beautiful basket full of walnuts straight from Hungary! As soon as I saw them I was absolutely charmed by them and had to have them!;) Luckily soon I was able to buy them at Bozse's Etsy shop.
Do you know this kind of nuts is very popular in Poland, specially during Christmas time and they are called the Italian nuts here?
Look at the detiles! Incredible! I couldn't believe they are sooo tiny until I saw them on my own eyes!:D Great great work!
You really are a very very talented Lady, Bozse! Thank you for your work! I am really proud to own these miniatures!:)
Do go and see Bozse blog as she's got more beautiful works on "My tiny work: Dollhouse Miniatures"
Still am waiting for my missing parcel/s....
Gaudete!

Pickled?! LOL! We use fresh or dried or roasted on the frying pan.;)
Miniatures? I was wondering why you buy nuts at etsy? I never thought they are miniatures! This lady does incredible real looking minis.

Ciao da Rosella
Thank you for showing, I'll drop by at Bozse's soon, she must me highly talented, the nuts are amazing! - Walnuts belong to the German christmas, too, and it's very common to craft christmas items with them if you manage to part them in solid halves - or paint the whole nut gold and use it as an ornament. Do you have walnut cribs, angel beds etc. too in Poland? ;O)
Greetings
Birgit
I think they are perfect. I also thought they were real walnuts.
Oh my God! if you had not put the "business card" nearby, I never realized that they are miniature!
Bozse is an incredible talent! I love them!
yes, in Italy called "Sorrento walnuts" ...
they eat the Christmas holidays, and they taste very good!
congratulations on your purchase, any money earned!
Greetings from Italy!

They are so realistic. I've followed Bozse for a while now. Her work is superb! We call them English walnuts in the States. My husband loves them in ice cream.
Hugs, Lainie

I'm so happy you got the walnuts intact, and the post was really fast! I know they are in good hands now. Thank you again for buying my work! And thanks for the promotion, too! Have a nice weekend!
Glad you all love them just like I do! :D Thank you, Bozse, once again!:D
Brigit, hmm not a common tradition here but I remember making little boats :)
Love the walnuts names: English, Italian, Sorrento you could think there are many kinds of walnuts ....;)
Walnuts are very common at christmas time in Hungary, too. We also wrapped them in alufoil or paint them before hanging onto the christmas tree. And the traditional christmas roll cake is filled with walnuts. It's named bejgli and I love it! Surely I will make it in 1:12 scale!
Es un trabajo verdaderamente genial, tan pequeñitas y con tanto detalle.
Feliz fin de semana.
besitos ascension

I love walnuts - fresh, cooked, pickled. And a Chinese lady showed me how to cook them in spiced syrup, then roll them in fine sugar for a sweet treat - delicious!
The idea of gilded walnuts is lovely!
