A little bit like Audrey's

This is what I thought when I saw this pretty hat with matching bag.:)

Here is the original Audrey Hepburn's hat. Aren't they alike?:)

This beautiful couple I bought in Luned's "Just fo you" Etsy shop which Jenn of Looking Glass Miniatures mentioned on her blog earlier. I have chosen the pink one as I have a doll dressed in pink to make.:)
Luned's got also a wonderful collection of bonnets - of course I am planning to buy one or two of them soon;) - and you surely will find other miniatures there too.
Thank you, Luned, for this beautiful hat and bag and your kind assistance!

Ten sliczny kapelusz wypatrzyłam w sklepiku Etsy o wdzięcznej nazwie "Just for you". W sklepiku, w którym kupiłam ten uroczy różowy zestaw znajdziecie też czarujące czepki i trochę miniaturowych słodkosci:)

First books for Spinner's End...

...which I don't know when I will be building because I have a lot of books to collect before. Truth is I will have to make tons of them myself but since there are great book's makers around I decided to order at least a few.

These books you see on the photo were bought from Ladies Mile Miniatures Etsy Shop. Theresa's got also her own website named the same way. She sells lots of miniatures including books that perfectly fit into 1:12 shelves. These are really simple books but I love the covers which will look perfectly when standing on the shelves.:)
Thank you, Theresa for the books and your kind assistance!

A capital city's surprise

You may not know but I don't really like our capital city. Comparing to my quiet, windy city, Warsaw is noisy and has most ugly main train station you can imagine. I never am fond of going there so I wasn't happy to go there in January either. Not to mention for a whole 5 days!
Still to my surprise, it wasn't that bad as I expected. We accidently had a good hotel and free evenings, the city was still wearing it's Christmas lights so the Old Town was really charming, we visited brand new Chopin's Museum, very modern with a lot modern technics in use.
I went to our head quarters with two of my workmates. The girls just loved to watch every jewelery shop's windows and I...well, quess there is not a lot of a woman in me ;)...was getting a bit bored of that. While waiting for them to finsh admiring all the jewelery staff in the next shop I looked once again at the window display and - imagine my surprise - I noticed this!!

Glad my friend has a cellphone with a good camera in it, I of course forgot to take my camera with me - million times I repeat I should have it with me always and still forgetting to take it. If not for Renata I would have never been able to show you this 1:12 jeweler's setting!
So if you wonder why I am showing it to you almost a month after coming back home I have to explain my friend's cellphone got broken on the last day of our trip and only now she's got it back working.:)
